We celebrated Independence Day with our friends Dave and Anna- who were getting ready to PCS back to the States. They are such great friends, and we miss them since they've left!

We walked to the shuttle bus that would take us across the base to the Fest. Anthony and Maddox were holding hands.
Sean and Mav sat together in the back of the bus.

Once we were there, the crowds were crazy, as always!
They had quite a few bouncy houses for the kids.
And face painting!
Stars and flags were the most common things we saw.
I'm sure everyone wants Flammkuchen on July 4th!
Back at the house we had our feast. I went home with Maverick, and Marshall stayed with Maddox to watch the fireworks. They were out really late that night!
I miss the cookouts that my parents used to have every year, but it was really nice to have them here with us for this holiday!
