The town of Cochem

The town of Cochem is right on the Mosel river, in the beautiful Mosel Valley, famous for its delicious Riesling wine.  It seemed there were vineyards on every hill.
This carved wall shows a little bit of the valley history.
Within the town were the beautiful narrow alleys and great shops that Europe is famous for.
You know why I liked this one!
Imagine this is your commute home from work.....
You will have to drag me kicking and screaming from here, I swear.
Look Em!  Emily's Wein-cafe!  We stopped and had some coffee and wine.
Riesling- so GOOD and CHEAP here!
This fountain was all decked out for Easter.

 NOT drinking water!

What a beautiful town, Mary! I love Mosel wine, it's better than Rhine wine, IMO. If you get a chance, be sure to visit Rothenburg on the Tauber - one of my favorite old cities in Germany. Love you bunches! So glad you are having such a good time!
