She sat next to her best buddy "Elivabef" at the Halloween party.
Mdx was the line leader on her last day of school!
Her sweet classmates gave her a canvas tote bag filled with activities and toys for the airplane- it was so thoughful! She also got a new kitty who she named "Mellow".
Maddox (okay, mostly GRAMPS) made this jack-o-lantern. Maddox said she wanted it to have 8 teeth, but I talked her down to 2. Gramps did a great job!
Gramps and the kids in their Halloween outfits.
It's not Halloween without a picture at the Pumpkin Patch! Maverick was not happy sitting in Mdx's lap.
Ready for Trick-or-Treating! If you can't tell- she's a turtle.
Once she understood what to do, Maddox would stop at the beginning of every walkway and tell me to "Stay right there, DON'T come with me". Huh. I didn't know that started at 3 years old. Then when she'd get to the door she'd spend so long talking to people that I'd eventually have to come up anyway and tell her we had to go. That happened at least 5 times. Other kids would come up to get candy and have to go around her. One kid said "Excuse me turtle!"- haha!
We had a lot of fun, but are really hoping that Daddy is around for trick-or-treating next year! We missed you Marshall! It was so great to take Maddox T-or-Ting in the neighborhood where I grew up. It's amazing how many of the same families live here, and how many of these houses have been really renovated. Next year we may be T-or-Ting in another country!
